Whilst Julian Cole, Simon Oboler and myself sat around discussing the recent increase in student bloggers, the conversation moved to website statistics. We jumped on each others Google Analytics and discovered something interesting.

Jules' most popular post is Great Insight and Hot Women: JB's Underwear Girls.

+ Sexy Subliminal Logos
See the running theme yet? It's a little disheartening to think my most popular posts are only so because the title has a sexual connotation.

Maybe, with a title like this, this post will skyrocket with pageviews?

    I'm sure you don't need me to tell you to focus on quality not quantity.

    Also, the danger of luring people with sex is you end up with spam in your comments. And that is something you don't want.

  4. Ahh yes, I don't mean to give the wrong impression by focusing on pageviews but it is nice to know where you are and are not generating buzz.

    It stuck me as interesting is all and worth an experiment.

  5. Zac, so how's this blog entry doing now 15 months on?

    I found this entry after doing some research into why Thepunch.com.au is/was getting traffic from the search phrase 'freeporn' (according to Hitwise) - check out my blog for info on this intermahnets oddness.
