+ MyPhone

After waiting and waiting and waiting I finally lost my phone the other night giving me a good enough excuse to cancel my current contract. I'm now the proud owner of a black 16gb iPhone.

One negative. I'm not sure if others feel this way but the best part of purchasing a new gadget, especially an Apple product, is unwrapping it and taking it out of the box. Unfortunately the Optus girl cut the plastic, opened the box, got her dirty fingerprints on it and inserted the SIM card right in front of me. Damn.

Apple don't only have incredible product design, but packaging design too. So much so, that it almost becomes part of the story of your purchase.

Anyway, what applications can you recommend?

  1. Just be glad she did that otherwise you may have stuck a paperclip into the earphone socket in a misguided attempt to put in your own sim card.

  2. Don't they have to activate it too which is why they have to open it?

The one app that is currently enjoying some screen time on my iPhone is TapDefense which is a game and it has me completely hooked.

  3. CheckTubes
    Light Saber

  4. @ Stan

    Stop showing your age.

    @ Lee

I'm still waiting for it to be activated sometime this afternoon. Ruined my damn experience! Downloading now!

    @ Jye

Knew I could rely on you buddy!

  5. Around Me is handy, BigOven is goodfor supermarket inspiration and MyFootball is the ultimate for when you can't be at the pub with pint in hand!

  8. One of the good things about no longer being a teenager is that you get to make up your own mind, rather than twittering away helplessly in the hope that a grown up will tell you whether or not you should buy a black phone or a white one.

  9. @ Future Employer

    Lucky I'm still a teenager then. ;]

  10. Social media jobs.

Come on Zac you can do better than that.

  11. Shazam is a must!
If you like wasting your time and looking really anti-social in social environments then try those 2 games Cuberunner and Luxtouch (Risk).
